ARC is a distinguished 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to the empowerment of children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Their mission is to enable these individuals to reach their maximum potential through a comprehensive array of services, including residential, vocational, educational, behavioral, and healthcare support.
The ARC of the Treasure Coast is at the forefront of advocating for the rights and full community integration of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. With community support, they tirelessly work towards creating a future where inclusive opportunities for work, play, worship, community engagement, travel, and more are not just ideals, but realities.
At the heart of ARC’s mission is the provision of support, assistance, and training aimed at enhancing the daily lives and future prospects of children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as their families. Crucially, ARC is dedicated to preparing these individuals to navigate and overcome any life challenges they may encounter, be they mental, physical, social, or cultural, thereby ensuring they can achieve their highest potential.
ARC’s services cater to a diverse group of individuals facing various challenges, such as intellectual disabilities, Autism, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, Epilepsy, and other developmental disabilities. Through an extensive range of programs coupled with cutting-edge medical technology, ARC provides education, skill training, community participation, physical and behavioral therapy, and support in developing self-sufficiency for each person they serve.
Proudly supporting over 250 children and adults monthly, ARC employs a dedicated team of more than 110 professionals across healthcare, education, and other specialized fields, all committed to the well-being and advancement of those they serve.
